This is the title track of the album, and the last chapter of this book. Titian and Amethyst realize the hold of Aura Noir on the sun, and it is so strong that is preventing life from striving on this earth. They create a ritual, for they are sure they are more powerful.
They make the sun move towards the earth on which they stand on! Titian, certain he can hold the sun up long enough for Amethyst to destroy Noir, finds himself unable to do so. However, in his blaze, he realizes something: All life reunites in death.
"The sound of our flesh decaying is only blissful music for our ears.
The sound of our flesh decaying is the sound of prison-lock shatter."
Over in both of their heads and watching their own visages melt away, time stops for but a moment before the earth sinks into itself. Rubicon speaks, his unliving voice speaking through solar flares, carrying the auras of living things far away...
But before they could escape, Noir follows them into the vortex.
lyrics
Titian:
“The same sound I heard at birth comes back to haunt me...”
The sky is sinking...
Titian and Amethyst's final ritual...
Titian & Amethyst
“We shall slaughter this murderous sun-god!
We shall die knowing fully well
That all souls shall be reborn
And that they feel true warmth!”
The sun grows closer...
Melting physical flesh...
Aura Spirit:
"The Solar Giant merges ground!"
“We gaze at...
The approaching sun...”
Titian:
“The sound of our fleshes decaying...
Is only blissful music for ears...”
The sound of our fleshes decaying...
Is the sound of prison lock shattering...”
The solar giant grows closer...
Devouring planets and moons alike.
A destructive concerto of chaos...
The Auras listen to the sound of burning Earth...
Titian:
Our bodies are weakening,
Yet our Auras are growing stronger
Solar flares carry them...
A familiar Rubicon speaks...
[Pure voices of Aura Spirit sing of Rubicon]
Rubicon:
“Do not mourn...
For I shall carry you...
I shall carry...
Into the next world...”
Solar flares grasp the Earthly auras...
And they fly up to the realms.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
The great NYC black metal group Dawnbreaker returns with another harrowing LP, where brutal riffs are trailed by eerie synths. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 23, 2022

This is my favorite metal album of all time. The only bad thing is that the vocals are somewhat buried in the mix. Otherwise, the record perfectly blends a mix of metal genres with excellent songcraft. A record you'll listen to again and again. The Real Nick House
